Information processed Grapemail processes your mailbox address, mailbox password, connection identifiers, authorization grants, and the email content needed to carry out your requests. Searching and reading returns selected email information to ChatGPT. Drafting and sending processes the recipients, subject, message body and threading information you provide or approve.
Why we process it We use this information to authenticate your mailbox, execute authorized mailbox actions, prevent abuse, manage connections, and avoid duplicate drafts or sends. The connector stores your mailbox password encrypted so it can connect to the mail server when you use it. The password is not returned to ChatGPT.
Storage and service providers The connector runs on Amazon Web Services in London (eu-west-2). Connection and operation records are encrypted in DynamoDB; encryption material is held in AWS Secrets Manager. Mail stays on the Grapemail mail server, apart from content processed by the connector, operation records and information returned to ChatGPT. OpenAI processes information received in ChatGPT under its applicable terms and privacy settings. Outgoing mail passes through the Grapemail mail server and its configured Amazon SES relay to the recipients' providers.
Retention Mailbox credentials and some identity, draft and send-operation records currently have no automatic expiration. They remain until removed by the operator or an applicable disconnect operation. Prepared-send previews expire after ten minutes; OAuth tokens and sessions have their own expiration periods. Service logs are configured for fourteen days and are designed to exclude mailbox passwords, tokens and message bodies. Backups can retain older versions after active records are removed until those backups expire.
Your choices and requests You can stop using the connection and remove it from ChatGPT. Removing it from ChatGPT should not be assumed to delete all connector records. Contact support@grapemailserver.com to request connection revocation or removal of stored connector information. Do not email passwords or tokens. Changing your mailbox password prevents the stored previous password from authenticating. Copies already delivered to recipients, saved in mailboxes or provided to ChatGPT are handled separately by those systems.
Scope and changes Only connect mailboxes you are authorized to use. This notice covers the Grapemail connector, not the whole email-hosting service. Any final policy and future changes will be made available at this site.
